Martin and Laurie Birrer of Hills, IA are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, to Craig Daniel Beecher, son of Gary and the late Betty Lou Beecher of North Branch, MN.

Sarah graduated from the University of Iowa College of Nursing and is employed as a registered nurse with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Craig graduated from the University of Iowa College of Engineering and is employed as an electrical engineer with Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids.

The couple is planning a winter wedding.
