Gordy Clark and the former Anita Rahn were married 40 years ago on April 23, 1971, at the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon, IA.

They have two children: Mat (Katie) and Jennifer (Steve), and five grandchildren: Griffin, Shyler, Clayton, Garrett, and Eleanor.
