Albert and Marilyn (Schultz) Runau were married April 9, 1961 in St. John Lutheran Church in Luana, IA.

They are the parents of Genevieve (Todd) Darnell, Debra (Tom) Matzat, and Angela (Dudley, Jr.) Greiner. Their grandchildren are Joshua (Tiffany) Bauer, Heather (Steven) Bryant, Nathan Bauer, Lindsey Bauer, Alec Matzat, Matthew Greiner, and Kayley Greiner. Great Grandchildren are Tai David, Taylor, and Laura (due in May).
