Clark and Norma Whitaker of Hillsboro, IA, and Bill and Jeannie Claassen of Newhall, IA announce the engagement of their children, Kelcy Lynn Whitaker and Matthew Taylor Claassen.
Kelcy is a 2006 graduate of Harmony High School and a 2010 graduate of Simpson College with degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Matt is a 2007 graduate of Benton Community High School and will graduate in May 2011 from Simpson College with degrees in Sports Administration and Marketing.
The couple will be married on July 23, 2011, in Pleasant Hill, IA.
