High school sweethearts, Bill and Sue Barvinek, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, September 25th. Bill an the former Sue Brady were married on September 25, 1960, at Sharon Evangelical United Brethren Church in Cedar Rapids. They have two sons, Todd of Pecos, NM, and Brad (Beth) of Cedar Rapids.
They have five grandchildren, Cara (Ryan), Colton, Baylor, Olivia and Andy. They have one great-grandson, Avery. They celebrated with an open house at the home of Brad and Beth on September 25th. They celebrated earlier in June with a family fishing trip to Longville, MN.
