Merle and Leota Garwood celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on April 23, 2011. They were united in marriage at St. Michael Catholic Church in Norway, IA.
In their 55 years of marriage they have been blessed with 3 children: Sheryl (Jeff), Lynn (Antoinette), and Mike, 5 grandchildren: Renee (Nick), Cody, Trina (Dan), Ali, and Alivia, and 4 great-grandchildren: Madison, Paige, Samuel, and Anabelle.
The couple will celebrate with a cruise to the New England states coastline in June.
