David and Elaine (Kopecky) Manternach of Monticello, IA celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 8, 2011.

They were united in marriage on April 8, 1961 at Immaculate Conception Church in Clutier, IA.

They have 5 children: Patty (Doug) Hansen of Holbrook, AZ, Linda (Al) Hartung of Dubuque, IA, Diane (Kevin) Gray of Monticello, Duane (Sonya) Manternach of Monticello, and Kevin (Nicole) Manternach of Ely, IA.

They have 14 grandchildren.
