Berchenbriter - Thayer
Together with their families, Timothy Berchenbriter and Rebecca Thayer are pleased to announce their recent engagement. Timothy got down on one knee and asked for Rebecca's hand in marriage while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park in July 2011.
Timothy is the son of Dean and Carol Berchenbriter of Cedar Rapids. Rebecca is the daughter of Teresa Thayer of Marion, IA and James Thayer of West Des Moines, IA.
Timothy is a US Navy veteran with honorable discharge in 2008 and currently pursuing an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Rebecca earned her degree in Math Education from the University of Northern Iowa and currently teaches mathematics at Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids.
