Link - Zimmerman

Laura Link and Kyle Zimmerman of Cedar Rapids were married on July 30, 2011 at The First Presbyterian Church in Elk Rapids, MI. A reception followed at the Traverse City Golf and Country Club in Traverse City, MI.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Jeffrey and Kristi Link of Traverse City. She is the granddaughter of Mr. William Wolfersheim and the late Mrs. Barbara Wolfersheim of Suttons Bay, MI and Dr. Oscar and Elinor Link of Bloomfield Hills, MI.

The groom's parents are Brian and Julie Zimmerman of Hiawatha, IA. He is the grandson of Mrs. Demetra Schilling and the late Mr. Roy Schilling of Charles City, IA and Mrs. Sally Zimmerman and the late Mr. Wally Zimmerman of Waukon, IA.

Laura is a 2004 graduate of Traverse City Central High School and a 2008 graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. She received her Master's of Education from DePaul University in Chicago, IL in 2011 and is an ELL teacher at Roosevelt Middle School.

Kyle graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy in 2004 and University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN in 2008. He is a financial advisor for Securian Advisors MidAmerica, Inc. The newlyweds were honored at an Iowa reception in November at Kinnick Stadium Press Box.
