O'Brien - Akers

Isabella Grace announces the engagement of her parents, Courtney Ann O'Brien and Skyler Steven Akers.

Courtney is the daughter of Gary & Dawn McCalley and Dennis & Sheryl O'Brien. Skyler is the son of Cindy & Mark Sillman and Steve & Julie Akers.

Courtney graduated in 2005 from Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids, Capri Cosmetology College in 2006, and Kirkwood Community College in 2011 with an Associate Degree in Human Services. Skyler attended Marion High School and is employed at Cargill Soy Bean Plant in Cedar Rapids.

A June 2, 2012 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church where they are members, and a reception following at The Hotel, Kirkwood Center, Cedar Rapids. A honeymoon is planned in Jamaica. They make their home in Swisher, IA.
