Dan and Dorothy Hingtgen will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering in the Seattle area in July.
Dan Hingtgen of Dubuque, IA and Dorothy Ann Nolte of Watkins, IA were married at Holy Trinity Church in Walford, IA on June 10, 1961.
They have lived in Cedar Rapids since 1966 when they moved back to Iowa from California where Dan was on field assignment for Collins Radio/Avionics. Dorothy enjoyed a career in elementary school teaching.
They have three sons, John of West Sacramento, CA, Steve of Montpelier, VT, and James of Bainbridge Island, WA.
