They were married on May 20, 1961 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Holbrook, IA.
They have 4 children, Tammy (Kevin) McKenna of Holiday Lake, Stacy (Tom) Shey of Robins, IA, Shelly (Paul) Sampson of Cedar Rapids, and Rich (Lisa) Hendrickson of Clarksville, TN, 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren (2 more on the way).
They celebrated with a family dinner in Cedar Rapids.
