Drahns to observe 50th wedding anniversary July 29

Don and Sharon Drahn of Monona will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary July 29. Don Drahn and the former Sharon Harris were married July 29, 1967 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids with the Rev. E.W. Koberg officiating.

They are the parents of three children: Jeffrey,

deceased in 2009; Denise Adam of Cedar Rapids and Chad Drahn of Monona. They also have three grandchildren, Adrian and Jenna Adam and Daynan Drahn.

The couple celebrated with a trip to New York last fall and are planning a trip to Tennessee later this year.
