Norm and the former Betty Thompson were married at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
Their journey began while they were roller skating at the Temple Roller Rink, located in Cedar Rapids.
Their children are Kathy (Rick) Fry, John (Barb) Staub, Mike (Patti) Staub, Dorothy Staub, Rob (Kim) Staub, Patty (Doran) Wilson and Joe (Patti) Staub.
They have been blessed with 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
