Gaffney Cousins Reunion
The grandchildren of Walter and Olive Gaffney held a family reunion on July 22, 2017 at Thomas Park in Marion, Iowa. There were approximately 120 people in attendance including 36 first cousins. Families shared memories of growing up with gramma and grampa Gaffney who resided on McKinley St. Thanks to our 3 cousins, Patti Miller Newman, Mary O'Brien Petersmith and Ellen Oehler Goldsmith, organizers of the days events. A great time was had by all. The children of Walter and Olive (all now deceased)
included: Mary Frances Gaffney Stevenson, Joseph Gaffney, James Gaffney, Patricia Gaffney Oehler, Dorothy Gaffney O'Brien, Jane Gaffney Tow and Phyllis Gaffney Miller.
