On August 5, 1967, George Follmer and Paulette Murray were united in marriage at the First United Methodist Church in Aurora, IA. They resided in
Hazelton for 2 years before moving to Marion and buying their home. Paulette taught for the Marion Independent School District for over 30 years. George was the audio visual technician for Linn Mar Schools. They both retired in 2001. The
couple has two children, Georgia (Tony) Tallman, and Paula (Cory) Maddy. They are also extremely proud of their five grandchildren: Owen, Rolin, Jackson, Had, and Claire. A family celebration is planned to honor this joyous occasion.
