Pitner 50th Anniversary
Dee and Richard Pitner observed their 50th
wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Amanas.
Their children are Lisa Caterine (Matt) of Overland Park, KS; Tim (Jill) of Silver Spring, MD; and Tom of Leawood, KS. Grandchildren are Ben and Nick Caterine, and Jane and Ellie Pitner.
Meeting at and graduating from the University of Iowa, they married there August 12, 1967. Both working in education, they were able to travel summers extensively throughout the U.S.
Following retirement, they traveled mostly in
Europe.
