'Twas the summer of 2000 and all through
Johnson and Linn counties' grounds,
so many searches by land, sea and air,
but you were nowhere to be found.
Your honesty throughout "Chevrolet-dom" was
so well-known. And you were always a gentleman, even when a tennis shot you had blown.
It's hard to realize you were accidentally
swallowed up by Lake Macbride, location of our "playhouse," in which we took so much pride.
How much our family and friends need your smile and touch again. We'll all meet someday in
Heaven, only God knows when.
