Dr. Richard and Barbara (Rocca) Louvar have been with each other for 600 months,
26.3 million minutes, 18,261 good days, and one bad day. The Louvars began their
50th wedding anniversary on June 15, 1968. They are native Cedar Rapids high school
sweethearts with many accomplishments,
including three spectacular kids, six
extraordinary grandchildren and a cadre of
beloved, lifetime friends. A shared love for
kitchen gadgets, home-cooked meals, PBS
series and worldly adventures cement their
