Smrha - Franzen

CEDAR RAPIDS­ - Shantelle L. Smrha of Cedar Rapids and Nathan J. Franzen of Marion, IA announce their engagement.

Shantelle is the daughter of Ron and Donna Smrha of Cedar Rapids. Nathan is the son of Ron and Jean Franzen of Fort Atkinson, IA.

Shantelle graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Communications Studies. She is employed as a senior analyst for AEGON.

Nathan graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration. He is employed by Rockwell Collins as a technical project manager.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on June 5, 2010, during a 4 p.m. ceremony at Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel in Solon, IA. A reception will be held at the University Athletic Club.
