Wisdom - Welton

WASHBURN, ND - Marissa Ann Wisdom and Matthew Jeremy Welton, both of North Liberty, IA, were united in marriage on May 30, 2009. Pastor Erik Johnson presided over the wedding ceremony held at the First Lutheran Church in Washburn, ND. A reception was held at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel in Bismark, ND.

Marissa is the daughter of Virgil and Debra Wisdom of Washburn, ND. Matthew is the son of Audrey and the late Steve Welton of Cedar Rapids.

Marissa received both her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Medicine degree from North Dakota State University. She completed her residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She is employed by Mid-Dakota Clinic Center for Women in Bismark, ND as a Doctor of OB-GYN.

Matthew is a graduate of Jefferson High School and Kirkwood Community College with a major in Business.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Porta Viarta, Mexico.
