Rapids are pleased to announce the

engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lisa Michelle, to Dustin

Allan Horner. Dustin is the son of Lisa Brown of Grimes, IA and Dan and Mary Horner of Jacksonville, FL.

Lisa is a 2008 graduate of Xavier High School and graduated with a BSN

degree from St. Ambrose University in 2012. She is a registered nurse at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Following his 2003 graduation from Linn Mar High School, Dustin worked for

several years before returning to school. He graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an associate's degree and is currently a full-time student at the

University of Iowa, earning his BS

degree in computer science.

The couple will exchange vows on

January 2, 2015 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Marion, IA. Following their

marriage, they will reside in North

Liberty, IA.
