George and Shirley (Newkirk) Madoerin were married June 14, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy, IA. They are blessed to be observing their 60th Anniversary with a family dinner and celebration in Des Moines, IA. They are the parents of Sharon (David) Volkens and Douglas Madoerin and friend Diane Nevius. Their grandchildren are Shelby (Brad) Dains, Sarah Madoerin, Michael (Sarah) Volkens, Jacob Madoerin and Evan Volkens. Their great-grandchildren are Kaylin, Avery and Stella Dains, and Jackson Volkens, with two new greats arriving shortly. They reside at Highland Ridge, Williamsburg, IA.
