Retirement Congratulations!

Vickie Nimmer is retiring from UnityPoint Health St. Luke's Hospital Cedar Rapids Nassif Heart Center and Nursing Staff. Vickie graduated from St. Luke's

Methodist Hospital Professional School of Nursing, Cedar Rapids in 1969 with

nursing as her 44-year lifetime career.

Vickie is an ANCC Certified Cardiac/Vascular Nurse, Certified EECP Therapist and member of the IETA

International EECP Therapists'

Association. Vickie also serves as the Treasurer of the National Society for

Vascular Nursing and is a member of the "You're the Cure" advocacy team for the American Heart Association.

Vickie and her husband Allan have four grown children, live in Marion, IA and are

members of St. George Antiochian

Orthodox Christian Church.

Vickie's retirement plans include travel,

volunteering and spending lots of time with grandchildren Iveri (2) and

Nina (9 mo.) Tsilosani.
