When our son Kasyn was born we were overjoyed. Soon after he was born he was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. While we kept our joy, we also felt scared and helpless. We were

nonetheless terrified when we found out he needed open heart surgery. Through it all we experienced the greatest

outpouring of kindness we have ever seen.

While our family, friends and church were helping us through this tough time, there was another group of amazing

people putting together a Benefit Tractor Pull, and another benefit put on for us by Mike's Bar in Alburnett, IA. Seeing all the hard work and time people were

volunteering, some we barely know, to get these benefits organized, has truly been a humbling experience. We want to thank each and every one of you that helped in any way. God Bless you!
