Betty Haase, 90, passed away February 25, 2026. Betty was born on August 27, 1935, in Marion, Iowa to Daniel and Lucy Young. Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 6, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Betty is survived by her children, Sandy (Steven) Pohlmann and Rob Haase; grandchildren, Tonia, Jennifer, Steven, Melissa, Paige, Seth, Chandler, Ashley, McKenzie and Dakota; 13 great-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Haase; and children, Donna Croy and Raymond Haase.
Betty loved children, she provided in-home daycare to many children for 50 years. She enjoyed her neighborhood; she would invite neighbors in for coffee, doughnuts, and conversation. Betty was a joyful person; she will be missed.
