Karen L. Priske, 83, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength that will be missed by all who knew her.
Karen cared deeply for others, possessing a generous heart and a thoughtful spirit. She had a unique way of making people feel valued, touching many lives through simple acts of kindness, words of encouragement, her steady presence, and quick-witted humor.
She cherished time spent with family and friends, finding joy in everyday moments. Karen’s warmth, resilience, and compassion will continue to live on in the memories of those she loved.
Karen is survived by her two sons, Todd and Marc, four grandchildren, extended family, friends, and many others fortunate enough to have known her. She will be remembered for her love of God, her pets, her many friends, and the lasting impact of a life lived with grace. A Celebration of Life memorial will take place on February 11 at 10:30 am with a luncheon held directly after the service at Faith Bible Church, located at 1800 46th St. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the church in honor of Karen Priske.
