Pamela Rae (Post) Danielsen, age 63, of Eldridge, Iowa, entered the loving arms of her Savior on December 19, 2025. She was surrounded by her devoted family after a courageous journey with cancer.
Born September 12, 1962, in Ottumwa, Iowa, Pamela was the cherished daughter of Pete and Shirley Post. After graduating from Jefferson High in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she married the love of her life, Chris Eugene Danielsen. Together, they made their home in Eldridge, Iowa, raising a family rooted in devotion, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to Christ. Pamela also graduated from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. She was a gifted teacher and substituted the last several years in the local area. Above all, a deeply loving mother and grandmother, Pamela invested her life in nurturing both her students and her own children and grandchildren with patience, wisdom, and boundless affection.
Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of everything she did. Pamela lived out the Gospel through quiet acts of kindness, fervent prayer, and warm hospitality. Her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens were a reflection of her nurturing heart. She delighted in cultivating beauty and generously shared the bounty with neighbors and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Chris Danielsen of Eldridge; her son, Justin Danielsen (Mariah) of Long Grove, Iowa, and their children Holden, Henry, and Virginia; her twin daughters, Keely Waring (Justin) of Marion, Iowa, and their children Casen, Emslee, Ames, and Josie; and Kara Wehmeyer (Keefer) of Solon, Iowa, and their children Hadlee, Juliet, and Jens.
She is also survived by her parents, as well as many extended family members.
A celebration of Pamela’s life will be held on January 3, 2026 at Sacred City Church in Bettendorf, Iowa at 12:30 pm with a visitation preceding the service, starting at 10 am.
