Marilyn Kae Randall, 86, of Marion passed away on December 22, 2025. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow service and take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Marilyn was born April 2, 1939, to Paul and Leona Stephen in Des Moines, Iowa. She spent her childhood years in Manchester, Iowa before moving to Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids before attending Parsons College. Marilyn was a teacher throughout her career. She enjoyed traveling, fishing trips to Canada, playing bridge, baking, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Kasey) Clymer of Nashville, TN, Dan (Amy) Clymer of Fort Wayne, IN, and Steve Clymer of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Paul, Ben, Harris, Carlana, Katia, Carson, Sam, and Henry; great grandchildren, Maya & Jack; siblings, Roger Stephen and Karilyn (Steve) Sonka.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Robert Stephen.
