One dead in single vehicle crash in Clayton County
Driver failed to stop at T intersection and left road, investigators say

One person was killed Saturday evening in a single vehicle crash in rural Guttenberg in Clayton County, the sheriff’s office reports.
The Clayton County Communications Center received a call around 7 p.m. Saturday about a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Osterdock Road and Garber Road in rural Guttenberg.
Investigators determined the driver of a 2010 Ford Explorer was northbound on Osterdock Road and failed to stop at the T-intersection. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
The driver, whose identity has not yet been released pending notification of family members, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office. They were assisted at the scene by the Guttenberg Police Department, Guttenberg Ambulance Service, Guttenberg Fire, the Clayton County Medical Examiner’s Office and Rausch’s Towing.
