Charles Ray (Tiger) Tandy passed away suddenly on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the age of 66. He was on the road in Crawfordsville, Indiana, doing what he loved, picking up a load to be delivered to Williamsburg, Iowa.
Tiger was born in Iowa City, Iowa, on June 11, 1959. He lived his entire life around the Oxford, Iowa, area. He spent most of his adult working career in the trucking industry. He was owner of Tiger Tandy LLC trucking company.
Tiger enjoyed spending time with loved ones and friends. He especially enjoyed the chili parties that he hosted multiple times a year.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cynthia, his sons Joshua and Jeremiah, along with grandchildren Matthew, Mary-Jane, and Elizabeth.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Ray Tandy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Oxford American Legion, 128 East Main Street, Oxford, Iowa 52322.
One last Chili party for Tiger.
