Republican health care proposal is rhetoric

Rep Miller-Meeks is touting the Republican health care proposal. I would think that such a proposal should be thoroughly vetted before being enacted. This would require hearings, testimony, public input, debate, a careful analysis of the ramifications, how people would be affected, etc. This should take time and be carefully done.

The wise thing would be to extend ACA benefits while developing and presenting the new proposal to the public. Instead we are getting bombastic rhetoric declaring without evidence that the ACA is a disaster. This is simply irresponsible.
