What to know: Iowa is coming off a 91-51 win over Western Michigan at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Hawkeyes shot 65.6 percent from the field in the first half and led the game by as many as 50 points in the second.
Five Iowa players scored in double figures. Bennett Stirtz, Alvaro Folgueiras and Brendan Hausen had 13 points each, while Cam Manyawu and Tate Sage scored 11 apiece.
Stirtz continues to be the only Iowa player to average double-figures scoring at 17.5 points per game. The Hawkeyes are allowing just 61.8 points per game, which leads the Big Ten Conference and is eighth nationally.
Iowa is 19th in the NCAA’s latest NET rankings.
Bucknell, meanwhile, is 307th out of 356 Division I teams in the NET rankings going into Friday. The Bison won their first two games this season (over Delaware and Mount St. Mary’s), then lost nine in a row before breaking that streak with a 51-38 win over Rider.
That game came Dec. 9, which means Bucknell will not have played in 10 days. Six-foot-11 German freshman Amon Dorries leads the Bison in scoring at 13.5 points per game.
