CEDAR RAPIDS — A former Lindale Mall offering is hitting the streets.
Leafy Bar, started by owner LaToya Wright with its healthy eats at the food court in 2021, plans to open a new Cedar Rapids food truck this week.
Leafy Bar 2 GO, the new concept, celebrates a grand opening at 12 p.m. on Dec. 16 at the corner of 10th Street and 12th Avenue SW.
Wright, known for her comfort and soul food in addition to her healthier options, says the new menu will feature a variety of soups, hoagies and other favorites like fried chicken. Leafy Bar 2 GO’s menu will change daily with a promise to “revitalize your day.”
