With great sadness, we announce the death of Diana Fields Washburn; daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, sister, friend.
She was born on December 21, 1947 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to John and Joan Fields, who preceded her in death, as well as a brother, John Edward. She lost her husband in 2016 to cancer.
She loved gardening and fought those moles with gusto, assisted by her beloved dogs, Trixie and Fletcher. Decorating was a special hobby and it showed in every room of her house. She loved cooking and never missed a chance to serve her meals to others.
Survivors include two daughters, Kelly St. Germain Ball (Johnny) and Jennifer St. Germain, a sister, Sheri Lytle (Dennis), two nieces, Chawn Fellendorf and Melissa Fellendorf, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a great-niece and a great-nephew.
There will be no funeral per her wishes. She requested a Celebration of Life, which will be announced at a later date.
