Retirement Celebration
After more than 18 years at Farmers State Bank, Cheryl Carlson has decided it's time to spoil her grandchildren on a full-time basis. Her retirement date is set for
Monday, June 30th.
Cheryl has been in the banking industry for over 30 years, and 18 of those years have been with Farmers State Bank. She began her FSB career in January 1994 as an IRA/Trust Associate. She then took on the role of Teller Supervisor for the Hiawatha office in 1997 and remained in this role until 2002, when she transferred to FSB's Collins Road Square
office to become the Branch Manager.
Cheryl has been a very active volunteer within the FSB family over the years and has been a key figure in assisting the local fire
departments with their annual MDA Boot
Collection Campaign. She established the
Collins Road Square Office as a counting site and coordinated volunteers to count all the crumpled money each Labor Day weekend.
Cheryl is looking forward to spending a lot more time with her husband Kurt and their three children, Shelly, Tammy and Jeremy, and, of course, her six grandchildren: Drew,
Cody, Ben, Samantha, Kayden and Kailey!
Please feel free to share your well-wishes with
Cheryl Carlson at Farmers State Bank,
1380 Twixt Town Rd., Marion, IA, 52302!
