Both party chairs blast political violence, but only one has solutions

I just finished reading the guest columns in the Nov. 9 Gazette written by Rita Hart and Jeff Kaufmann on political violence in our country.
One column came across as thoughtful and suggested a number of ways for people to tone down their online posts to help moderate online political hate speech. This same column's author said we should try to find a way to talk to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers about politics in a constructive and respectful way.
The other author came across as partisan and hateful of the other political party. This author told us what we should do to tone down the rhetoric while the words and thoughts in the column violated the very same message.
I strongly suggest you read both columns to see if you agree or disagree with my assessment. We can fix our political hate speech problem by writing a column that just add's to the same problem.
