The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art Museum Store will host its annual artists market for museum guests to purchase original artwork from local Iowa artists.
“It’s All About the Art” will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at the museum, 410 3rd Ave SE.
Guests to the museum will have the opportunity to meet and talk with all the artists in one place and to buy works of art in all shapes, sizes and disciplines. Artists will be selling paintings, prints, functional work, stained glass, collage, fiber art, textiles, jewelry and notecards.
“For the past 10 years, the Museum Store Artists Market has showcased a wide variety of area artists in this annual indoor art fair,” said Executive Director Sean Ulmer. “It is the perfect opportunity to see new work, interact with local artists and to make unique purchases ahead of the holiday season.”
CRMA has free admission to the galleries on the day of the artists market. View all 16 galleries for free and entertain the children with scavenger hunts.
