Gerald & Cathy Carter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at their son's in Minnesota. Gerald Carter & Catherine Johnston were married Jan. 3, 1965 at Christiansburg Methodist Church near Ottumwa, IA.

They have one son, Brian & wife Sarah.
