Alan and Marilyn Young of Cedar Rapids will
be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 30, 2015. The couple was married Jan. 30, 1955, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar
Rapids. On Dec. 26, 2014, a family dinner to celebrate their anniversary was held at The
Hotel at Kirkwood Center. The evening was hosted by their daughter Colleen (husband Mike) Sloan of Hiawatha and son Jeff (wife Jody) Young of Muscatine. Guests included granddaughter Rhiannon Williams of St.
Petersburg, FL; grandson Jordan Williams and girlfriend Hillary Schwickerath of Syracuse, NY; Lois Dietrich and Randy Dietrich of Vinton; and Janell Ryken of West Des Moines.
