A Cedar Rapids man was arrested Tuesday on charges that he sexually abused a 12-year-old child multiple times between May and November of 2024.
Kael Harrison Endecott, 24, is charged with six counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a child.
The 12-year-old reported the abuse to a family friend in November 2024, and later reported it to family members and to a forensic interviewer at the UnityPoint Health — St. Luke’s Child Protection Center, according to the criminal complaint.
A warrant was issued for Endecott’s arrest on Oct. 29, and he was booked into the Linn County Jail on Tuesday. A no-contact order has been filed on behalf of the child, and Endecott is being held on a $150,000 cash-only bond after an initial appearance Wednesday.
