Stanley Edward Corum, 90, of Marion passed away October 31, 2025. Inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Stanley was born on June 19, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Edward and Theresa (Ralston) Corum. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ross on January 9, 1954, in Marion, Iowa. He was employed for several years at FMC Link Belt as foreman, Pella Windows, and R & R Dudak, Inc. Stan enjoyed wood working, fishing, and time spent with family. He loved cats and dogs and had a special bond with his cat, Cheeto.
Survivors include daughters Peggy Corum of Braselton, Ga., and Nancy Montague and husband Rick of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Eric Long, Grant (Suzanne Stone-Corum) and Andrew Corum, Suzanne Rich-Corum (Keith), Elizabeth and Lindsey Estes (Daniel Holl); great-grandchildren, Sabrina Jolley (Clay), Tylor Barnes (Alexis), Magdalena and Maximus Long, Christopher Johnson, Ryker Holl, Simon and Sophie Rich-Corum; great-great-grandchild, Hayden Belieu; a sister, Nancy Gruwell and her husband Gary; daughter-in-law, Jaxine Corum; and grandson-in-law, Hector Candelaria.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Patricia in 2011; son, Michael Corum in 2014; grandsons, Austin Barnes in 2018 and Jarod Yerkes in 2025; granddaughter, Teresa Candelaria in 2024; and seven siblings.
