Merritt of Minneapolis announce the marriage of their children, Nicole Gardner and Benjamin Merritt. Nicole and
Benjamin celebrated their wedding on July 19, 2014 at Sharon
United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids. Nicole received her bachelor's degree in biology and
biochemistry from Wartburg College and is currently working on her Ph.D. in pharmacology at Creighton University. Benjamin also
graduated from Wartburg College with a degree in biology and is currently working at
Midwest Laboratories in Omaha as a chemical analyst. The couple honeymooned in the
Cayman Islands.
