Martin Dean Feldmann, 69, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Dennis and Donna Hospice House, Hiawatha, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family.
Marty was born on October 24, 1956, in Carroll, Iowa, the son of Robert and Mary (Baumhover) Feldmann. He was united in marriage to Carol Hansen on January 14, 2009, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Marty worked as an insurance agent for Neighbor Insurance until he passed. He graduated from the University of Iowa and was a Hawkeye fan. Marty was an avid golfer and had four hole-in-one’s.
Marty is survived by his mother, Mary; wife, Carol; stepchildren, Kristin Phillippe and Andrew Hansen; step-grandchildren, Aiden Hansen, Joseph Hansen, Brennen Phillippe, and Tanner Phillippe; seven siblings; brother-in-law, Wayne (Ann) Mallie; and his dog, Louie.
Marty was preceded in death by his father, Robert, brother-in-law, Steven Mallie; and in-laws, Lloyd and Doris Mallie.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to all of Marty’s many friends who supported them during this difficult time, as well as to Hospice of Mercy for their excellent care.
