Libations on Iowa opens new lounge in Washington

WASHINGTON — A new lounge with drinks and casual bites has opened in Washington.

Libations on Iowa, a new concept from owner Megan Libe, held its grand opening on Oct. 15 at 106 S. Iowa Ave.

The bar offers 16 drafts on tap, craft cocktails and martinis, alcohol-free mocktails and a menu of flatbreads and appetizers. The two-floor location also offers a private event space on the second floor.

Libe was named one of “40 Women to Watch” this year by the Iowa Restaurant Association’s annual list of women honored for their impact to Iowa’s restaurant and hospitality industry.
