Maloney - Special

Shawn and Jenifer Steil are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katharine Jeanne Maloney, to Scott Andrew Special, son of Thomas and Diana Special of Chicago, IL.

Scott is a 2003 graduate of Chicago's Notre Dame Academy for Boys and a 2007 Civil Engineering graduate of the University of Iowa College of Engineering. He is currently employed by Rausch Construction in Chicago as a Quality Control Manager. Kate is a 2003 graduate of Xavier High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Iowa. Her degree is in Political Science, with minors in English and Religious Studies. Kate is currently employed as a Sales Planner at the Game Show Network in Chicago.

Scott and Kate will marry on May 28, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fairfax, IA with Fr. Dustin Vu officiating.
