I am running for school board because I’m still committed to serving my community and this district. My passion and drive has always been strong for what is best and fair for the people I serve.
Being a board member takes great commitment. Yet I’ve remained steadfast through some very difficult and challenging seasons. From the death of our superintendent to the hiring of a new superintendent. Navigating COVID budget challenges, the deracheo and so many other things. I have remained steady, committed and focused.
I have kept students and staff and our community at the heart of every decision Ive made. Parent voice, teacher voice, student voice and community voice matter to me. I listen to them with respect and I remain approachable. I bring proven experience in governance and decision making. Every decision I make begins with this in mind. What is best for our students. I lead with experience and knowledge of processes and that means protecting strong classrooms, supporting teachers, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I am approachable, honest, and committed to listening to our community. I believe in collaboration and in building trust so that, together, we can provide the stability and vision our schools need. With continuity of leadership, we can keep moving forward and create the best possible future for our students.
Because I am so passionate about this district. I am showing up again to serve. I have invested so much hard work love and care for the past almost 20 years through volunteering in every school my three children have attended in this district to working in this district and now serving on this board for the past four years.
I’m willing to continue this hard work. This work comes with late nights and long days. But I have remained committed and dedicated so that our students and staff can experience great outcomes. It’s so important to me that our students and staff feel heard, supported and valued. There still is so much work to be done. And I’m here for it.
I want CRCSD to be a district that we all can be proud of. A spirit of community, excellence, unity, care, a sense of belonging and a safe place where learning and great outcomes are achieved. I’m ready to give my community another round to represent you well.
