Richard “Dick” Nienhaus, age 91 of Fort Atkinson, IA, died on Friday, October 3, 2025, at his home in Fort Atkinson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2025, at St. John’s Catholic Church, 201 Oak Street, Fort Atkinson, IA, with Rev. Ivan Nienhaus presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Helms Funeral Home - Chekal Chapel, 201 East Main, Fort Atkinson, IA. Also, from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at the funeral home Friday morning before the service.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials made to St. John Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson or any charity of your choice.
