This is about our lives, our kids’ lives, and our grandkids’ lives. According to the DOJ, political violence in the US is increasing. Also according to the DOJ, since 1990 the far-right has committed far more ideologically motivated homicides (227) than the far-left (42), data removed from the DOJ’s website after Kirk’s murder.
Recently, Ashley Hinson, Pam Bondi, and Trump have publicly said the far left is the problem. Why lie about this? Our leaders need to unite us, not further divide us, possibly even inciting some to commit more acts of violence. Americans are at a dangerous point. Saying others are the problem just convinces some that “others” started it, and now “we” can justifiably get revenge. Where does it stop? We must be better than this!
