One dead in Jones County crash

One person died Monday after a crash just outside Anamosa, according to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol.
A 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass was turning from Circle Drive, just north of Anamosa, onto Highway 151 at 8:10 a.m. Monday and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, the report states.
The Cutlass was hit on the driver’s side by a 2012 Ford F250, resulting in one person injured and one dead. The injured person was taken to the Jones Regional Medical Center by the Anamosa Ambulance, according to the report.
The state patrol had not released the identities of any of the people involved in the crash as of Tuesday afternoon.
